We're Hiring: Chief Financial Officer

Are you a financially savvy, detail-oriented professional looking to take ownership of a high-impact project? SWEBAL is seeking an experienced CFO with experience of controlling industrial investment projects to join our team and help drive the financial success of our strategic investments.

In this role, you’ll be a key player and part of the management team in a major industrial project—working closely with the leadership team, owners, project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial clarity, control, and strategic foresight from planning through execution.

You’ll combine analytical thinking with hands-on execution, contributing to the long-term growth and mission of SWEBAL.

What You’ll Do:

Collaborate closely with the CEO to raise and manage the required financing
Develop, maintain, and track project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Work closely with all domains to provide financial insights and guide decisions
Identify financial risks and improvement opportunities, and propose corrective actions
Report clearly and regularly to senior management

What We’re Looking For:

A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
Solid experience in financial controlling—especially in investment projects or industrial operations
Strong analytical mindset and experience using financial systems and tools
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
A collaborative yet independent work style, suited for a hybrid work environment
